PHILADELPHIA (AP) — There’s more to the story about how Spider-Man was transformed from Peter Parker.

Dan Slott, a writer,  says in May, Marvel Comics plans reveal how that transformation took place and how early crime fighting days, juggling school and dealing with the emotions of losing his Uncle Ben molded Peter Parker into a hero.

“Learning to Crawl” is a five-issue arc of stories that starts with “Amazing Spiderman” 1.1 and finishes with 1.5.

Slott says it’s not a reboot, rather a new chapter in the character’s  history.
