Most people believe Paris is one of the most amazing places to visit!  It’s filled with history, museums, romance, fashion and great food, making it a desirable vacation destination.

I went to Paris when I was 17.  My brother was in the army and stationed in Germany, so I spent some time with him and my sister-in-law, which included an excursion to Paris.  I found it to be filthy and filled with rude people.  The hotel room didn’t have a bathroom, it was down the hall, and I was too scared to use it in the middle of the night.  Also, they took me to the Lido de Paris nightclub which had topless dancers – that traumatized this naive young girl!

I have my reasons why I would probably never go back to Paris.  Another reason not to go is “Paris Syndrome.”  Jerusalem and Florence also have “syndromes” associated with them.  Check this out before you plan a trip:
