Surgery for shoes? Really?
Surgery for shoes? Really?

I recently read that the average woman owns 17 pairs of shoes, but only wears three or four of them on a regular basis. The last time I counted, I had 29 pairs of shoes in my closet, and I would estimate that I have four pairs of shoes that I wear regularly in the summer and maybe 3 pairs that I wear regularly in the cooler weather.

We women love our shoes!

I however, am not a fan of stilletos. I don’t own a single pair of those, and I only have four pairs of higher heels which I don’t wear if I’m planning to be on my feet for long periods of time.

I may love my shoes, but I also like to be comfortable.

I saw this story this morning that struck my attention. There’s a new trend of women having cosmetic surgery on their feet in order to look better and be more comfortable wearing stilletos. Procedures like botox for the feet and even cutting their toes down are becoming more and more popular.

I think I’m going to pass on the surgical procedures and just stick to my “comfort” shoes. How about you?

Check it out.
