City Police have arrested a 35-year-old man following a brief chase on Fifth Street Extended. Paul Eugene Cobbs (pictured) is charged with marijuana possession and obstruction of justice. Police say Cobbs ignored two traffic signals while he was heading in the direction of Interstate 64, and officers caught him when he turned onto Cleveland Avenue near Harris Road. He was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Friday and taken to the Regional Jail.
The rocker also faces charges including assault and menacing and is being held without bail in an Oregon jail.
