State Senate Approves Repealing Hybrid Vehicle Fee

Virginians who drive hybrid vehicles might get a tax break by this summer. The State Senate (pictured) has overwhelmingly endorsed a measure that repeals a $64 fee on hybrids. The fee was part of the transportation package that the General Assembly approved a year ago. The repeal legislation has already cleared the House of Delegates and Governor McAuliffe has said he will sign it.
